Unicia leftist me in charge of thee armies once thou left Drezzden. She t'would not wish them destroyed for nothing. Thou knowist this. Thou fightist for a home that tis not thines. Knowist I t'would not engage thine armies directly to destroy them. Thee souls of the few whom encountered me shalt be returned to thee asist soon asist thou canist find new bodies for them. I doth not wish a quarrel with thee. *His form shifted once more as he spoke to Drezzden. Now he stood only 6' directly in front of Drezzden looking as a human.* Brother in arms. I askist of thee to leave this battle be. *Standing firm in his spot no weapon could be seen however his orb was already holding them both from teleporting out.

From what I've tasted of desire, I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate to say that for destruction, ice is also great And would suffice.

*would sigh heavily as his brother spoke, "did Ahaz not know him better then that" he thought to himself before replying* If you know me at all mine brother, then you know I cannot do as you ask. *as he spoke the respect he held for his brother would
show in his eyes but also would be shown a determination to continue the fight until the very end* There are those whom dwell
in those lands I call friend and family, I cannot and will not give up the fight to protect and save them
*He would be silent for several long moments to allow his brother time to fully hear his words before speaking again* I will withdraw my armies, what little is left of them if you will do one thing me mine brother. End it, go back and stop the madness if you make whom ever is attacking Shangri La stop there attack and leave, never to return then I shall take my armies home and there they will stay *He would stand and await his brother's response, if his brother accepted the offer then the war would be over Shangri la would be spared further death and destruction and could begin the rebuilding process, if not then he would return to the battlefield and continue the fight even if it meant his death* |

*Shaking his head.* I shalt not do that mine brother. I shalt not demand he whom hast caused war to retreat. *Raising one hand before Drezzden could cut him
off* I shalt however takist mine army that doth stand before thine troops now andist remove them. I shalt hold thee to thine word that thou wilt remove thine
armies home andist stay there.
I hast made it very clear to mine forces that no harm shalt befall thine troops from mine. Thou speakist of fighting to thee last being andist thou shalt lose. Thee forces that oppose thee andist all of Shangri La art more thanist thou canist hope to defend from. Thee fall of thee lands tis imminent. Thou just hast not accepted it yet. If they shalt step aside thenist perhaps thee death shalt be reduced to a minimum. Knowist brother that us two art thee main forces upon thee field of battle. If we remove ourselves andist let thee forces finish their business it shalt be over soon enough. Shalt we both pull our forces from thee field that we hast agreed upon andist let thee battle finish it's self? *He would wait for Drezzden to reply but he was already sure he knew the answer.*

*he listened to his brother's words as he spoke the entire time his own heart growing heavy as he realized the small mistake he had made, in hoping to talk
his brother into stopping the war, he had said he would withdraw his troops....or those that remained alive and return home if his brother did the same. He
remained silent for several long moments and finally with a audible sigh, the pain of his decision showing clearly in his eyes he looked at his brother*
"I am a man of my word, I have given you my word I shall withdraw my armies from the field of battle and so I shall.......may those who survive at Shangri La forgive me, if any live to be able to" *as he finished he waited to be allowed to leave so he could do something he had never done before, order his forces to retreat in defeat* |
